Our board oversees club operations, fundraising, youth development and community outreach, ensuring the club stays true to its mission and represents Santa Barbara with pride.

The Santa Barbara County Boardriders Club is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to celebrating and supporting the rich surf culture of our coastline.
We bring together surfers of all ages and abilities, from groms just starting out to legends who’ve shaped the local lineup, to represent Santa Barbara in the West Coast Boardriders competition series and beyond.
More than just a surf team, we’re a community hub that connects local surfers through training, mentorship and events that build both skill and camaraderie. Our mission is to make surfing accessible, competitive, and fun for everyone, fostering pride in our local breaks while helping to shape the next generation of Santa Barbara surfers.
Through competitions, fundraisers and community outreach, we work to keep the spirit of Santa Barbara’s surf community alive, unified and thriving for years to come.
